Vanessa Woods is currently serving as the President of the Board of LEAP. She is an Associate Teaching Professor in Psychological and Brain Sciences at UCSB. Since 2009, her research has focused on inclusive pedagogy, STEM classroom equity, transfer student success, faculty-undergraduate mentoring, and K-12 science identity. She teaches undergraduate courses in behavioral neuroscience, student development, and research methods, as well as graduate-level psychology pedagogy.
