Juan has over 15 years of experience working in the non-profit sector providing services to children and families.

Juan attended UCSB and received a BA in Sociology and minor in applied Psychology and Education. Juan began his career as a work-study student working in our school aged program while attending UCSB. He then was promoted to Program Director of the School Aged Programs and worked directly with school aged students and their families for over 12 years before being promoted to his current position as Director of Programs & Operations. Juan was accepted and completed the Emerging Leaders Program in 2013.

Juan is passionate about serving families in our community and is excited to continue IVYP’s mission to strengthen our community through diverse educational, recreational and social programs for children and families.
