I agree to the following:

1. I will indemnify and hold harmless the Isla Vista Youth Projects Inc., the County of Santa Barbara, the Regents of University of California, Goleta Union School District and any funding sources from any liability or claims resulting from accident, injury, or harm occurring to me while volunteering for the agency.
2. I will respect the child’s rights:
   1. To be accorded dignity.
   2. To be accorded safe, healthful, and comfortable accommodations, furnishings, and equipment to meet his/her needs.
   3. To be free from corporal or unusual punishment, infliction of pain, humiliation, intimidation, ridicule, coercion, threat, mental abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse, or any other actions of punitive nature.
   4. Not to be locked in any room, building, or other premises.
   5. Not to be placed in a restraining devise (other than a seat belt).
   6. To be disciplined, if necessary, in a non-violent manner.
3. I agree to follow through with the application process which includes a personal interview, completing the volunteer application, and providing a copy of my vaccination records; TB, MMR, Dtap/Tdap, Influenza, COVID-19.
4. I agree to a Live-scan fingerprint clearance (DOJ).
5. I agree to follow all agency policies and expectations. And understand failure to follow all agency policies and expectations may result in termination.
6. I have read and understood the volunteer expectations and guidelines as provided.
7. I agree to volunteer my time as a non-paid volunteer to the Isla Vista Youth Projects Inc. And agree to a minimum commitment of 1 day per week for a minimum of 10 consecutive weeks for a total of at least 20 hours.
8. I give permission to the Isla Vista Youth Projects to use my photo and/or video for any promotional purposes including their website.
